Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
