'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is presently midway through the four-year deal he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the summer of 2023.

The veteran forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German club, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the maiden important honor of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he previously was, and would certainly contemplate extending his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
